It has come to a pont in my life where I have to choose a path that would change my future forever.
What is it? It's a decision of which course I want to get into at which university. Sounds exciting doesn't it? Well, it most certainly isn't. I know for a fact that I have around 20 different courses I have considered doing; none of which has been prioritised. My selection of universities is very limited as I am poor and cannot afford to go to Europe or London to attend universities.
University
I have two places I can choose.
Hong Kong / Sydney
I have chosen
Sydney at the moment as Hong Kong's education system is very different from Australia. It follows a similar education system to England, where they do an extra year in high school (total of 7 years) and that year is, you can call it, a bridging year to university. You do the basics of a certain course and after that year, you apply for a university.
USYD /UNSW /UTS / MAQU
This decision has been a
PAIN IN THE ASS. Problem is, each university has their own good points. e.g. USYD is good for med, UNSW is apparently good for business(according to my brother however I think MAQU is better), UTS is good for journalism & MAQU is good for... business (?) [or so they claim]
Generally, I have decided that:
USYD for psychology & langauges
UNSW for business related courses
UTS for photojournalism if I get in
MAQU if all else fails.
Courses
I am totally lost on this one.
Courses I want to do:
Architectural studies, B Arts in languages (for
Japanese and
Chinese), Psychology, business related course (haven't decided exactly on which course), Photojournalism (because I
love photography), B Arts in Media (Sound &Screen).
I have so far decided that my top priority is Architectural Studies followed by Psychology.

Funny thing: Two MAQU representatives came and talked and promoted their university. It was pretty awesome when the first speaker talked. It went downhill from the second speaker because she was....obviously promoting their university. Saying everything is awesome and that MAQU is a very friendly and social place. I was rolling my eyes at that and trying to resist from laughing. *sigh*
