Scratching off things on my "To Do List"

YESTERDAY!! THURSDAY!! Was by far the funnest (is there a word like that?) day of this holidays!

I went with Antonia to look for and possibly buy a formal dress. Since neither of us wanted to do any studying, we decided to look for it for the whole day! ^_^ We walked around literally ALL of the Chatswood centres around Westfield and IN Westfield. We walked into all the clothing stores and tried the nice dresses.

[Duration: around 2 hours]

Firstly, we headed to Chatswood Chase and tried to find any nice dresses there. We went into David Jones and saw ALOT of dresses on sale (since they are clearing out stock to make room for the new season) but the only hold back was that even IF they were on sale, it is still a designer brand and hence, from 300 something dollars, it would be down to 200 something dollars, which is STILL over our budget (which is <$100). So there we were, looking through the dresses and trying to find some decent one and then, FINALLY, we gave up. Although there were some pretty all right ones, it still looks a bit too...aussie? I guess that was how we felt about the dresses.
Anyways, so we went into various boutiques in Chase Shopping Mall and found a few possible (only half decent) ones.

So both Antonia and I gave up the search for half an hour and decided to have lunch. We went into a korean buffet ($10 only!) in Chatswood Mandarin Centre I think and ate nice korean food! It was my first time eating proper korean food (apart from scabbing from some korean fobs and eating korean junkfood). I loved the pancake thingy and the sweeet potato vermicilli ^_^ YUMM~~

[Duration:2 hours also]

Afterwards, we decided to walk around there. We didn't find anything good and so we went to Westfield to start looking. Antonia ended up buy this lovely dress (I don't know if I should tell you all the colour and what it looks like because I don't know if she wanted it as a secret or not) for $60!! The original price was $200 something dollars and since it was the last few days, the dress was discount upon discount! ^_^ so happy for her. I actually really liked the dress but because they only had size 8 or 12 or 14, and I'm a size 10, I couldn't buy it :( SIGHH. But in the shop, I spotted a really nice dress. It flairs out and has a punky feel to it but I really liked it. A shame it was $134.95 (Yes, I remember clearly).

So then we left that shop and walked to other shops. By the time it was nearly 6, our feet were SO SORE. T_T Walking around for hours, the weather all gloomy didn't help with my hopes of finding a nice dress.

Before dinner however, Antonia spotted a really nice dress in Dotti for $30 I think.... It was nice (: But I thought that it was a bit too short and didn't look formal enough. Although it was under the "Considered" Category, I decided to keep going and find another one. FINALLY, we found one that was SOO nice ^_^ its plain with only a few embrodieries (I forgot how to spell this) but its was nice ^_^

It's black, strapless and short  but not TOO short ^_^. The most important thing of all is I think it matches with my high heels that I bought in HK two years ago. I havent tried it on AND the shoes together yet but I think I'm going to try that on Saturday. Hope they match!

After all that and trying ot find shoes for Antonia, we decided to call it a day and eat dinner.

The only thing left for me to do is buy/find a cardigan (because the one Antonia gave me didn't really match) and LOSE WEIGHT!! GO SANDY!!

Love
